Beach time @ Ghantoot bungalows

Finally learning how to play catch and return a ball, even if I have to get wet and swim at this wonderful beach. Lots of fun with other dogs, on invitation of my friend Lili.

What a discovery! We had been in the area before, but could not find the right place to access the beach in Ghantoot. Following an invite from my friend Lili and her parents Christine and Gerome, we tried again. This time heading for the bungalows instead of the hotel and resort. And were amazed by a wide beach and lots of dogs with relaxed dog owners ‘attached’ :-)

When we arrived in the late morning, there was still a thick haze over water, beach and human structures. Looked a bit spooky, but the water was fresh and the other dogs were in the mood to play. And, for a change, I was not the most unruly dog on the beach - some of my new friends were VERY attracted by the cheese snacks my mommy carried. She had to flee and hide the yummy bits.

My humans commented that the houses looked less like bungalows and more like massive, if very simple, villas. And that it was a pity to have no restaurant open that would serve lunch and old drinks. But our friends came to the rescue and treated my humans to some delicious lunch. I could hang out with Lili at the same time with view to the sea and a nice breeze bringing new smells to enjoy.

A great Saturday out on the beach. We will be back hopefully soon!
